First Florida Wayzgoose
I had the pleasure of attending my first Wayzgoose. A Wayzgoose by definition is an annual feast of the persons employed in a printing office. The event was held on campus at the University of Tampa in the impressive Tampa Book Arts Studio (TBAS). It was a day filled with demonstrations, special guests and a chance to meet others who shared the same love of letterpress and talk shop. Read More »
Press Delivered!
Words cannot describe how delighted I am that we purchased our very own C&P 10×15 Letterpress. This all would not be possible without help from the big man upstairs, my family and friend’s never-ending support and last but certainly NOT least Gary Johanson. If it were not for Gary’s hard work rebuilding the press and his willingness to share letterpress, this would have never happened. I am blessed to have the means to start this new endeavor – it is a dream coming true!
Picking up our Letterpress
Hi All.. Here’s a quick update before we head out on the road to pick up our new letterpress. Yay! Can you believe it is finally happening? I will post more pictures and hopefully a video or two really soon.
Press Update… T-minus 6 Days and Counting
Gary just posted an awesome post about getting my press ready. I’m not gonna lie, I got a little misty eyed when I read the first line on his website GJohanson.Blogspot.com.
“It’s Alive! It’s Alive!” Our Letterpress Prints!

I could not resist quoting that famous line from the 1931 classic, Frankenstein when referring to our press printing for the first after Gary refurbished it.
Rehabbing our C&P Letterpress
Hi All! Here is an update on what has been happening with our press so far. Gary is working hard, and we appreciate all his time, hard work, never-ending knowledge and passion for letterpress.
Buying a C&P Letterpress!
We are beside ourselves and are extremely happy to announce we are buying our very own 10×15 New Series Chandler & Price (C&P) letterpress.
Letterpress Workshop
For well over a year, all I can think about is letterpress! I finally connected with Gary, a letterpress printer who teaches workshops from time to time. Now is the perfect time to mention the Ren and Stimpy song, “Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy” that played through my head when we finally confirmed the workshop date for July 23, 2012.
