I was burning the midnight afternoon oil working on a client’s email blast when I was interrupted by an extremely excited six year old. “Mama, Mama, come and see, I finished my craft I was working on.” So we hoped down the stairs to the kitchen. Sorry, I should have snapped a picture, but what I found was our iPad opened to a pin Sophia pined to her board and these cute little bunnies she created all by herself.
To make these uber adorable bunnies you will need:
- 2 cardboard toilet paper rolls
- 1 black marker (face, eyes and whiskers)
- 1 red marker (nose)
- 1 sheet of white paper (ears)
- 2 cotton balls
- White and pink paint (acrylic or craft paint)
First paint the cardboard toilet paper rolls and let them dry.
Draw two bunny ears (or four, if you are making two bunnies) on white paper. Color the tips of the ears with your favorite color, Sophia used purple. Leave a white space for the inside of the ear. Cut the ears out and glue them to each side of the toilet paper roll.
Glue cotton ball tail to the back of the cardboard roll.
With a black marker draw the eyes, whiskers and mouth. Draw the nose with a red marker.
This tutorial was created for you with love from Sophia.
